Exhibition

The "kults - jewellry exhibition in the workshop" is looking for the innovative goldsmiths and artists with the high quality of the goldsmiths works for the exhibition from October 31st to November 28th, 2020 in Berlin, Germany.

The purpose of the exhibition is to present the old goldsmith tradition and its newest innovations of creativity and technique of goldsmiths and artists to public. The "kults" deepens the knowledge about jewelry and its preparation on one hand as an artistic creation with the individual thoughts and ideas and on the other hand as an artistic creation with the historical and social backgrounds.

The "kults" presents an opportunity to intercultural communication between the artists and goldsmiths. It broadens the appreciations of the art of jewellery and brings the appreciations of functions of the business culture in the goldsmith field in different cultures to public notice.

The first step to fulfil our program has been taken in the last fifteen years. The goldsmith master Norbert Selbiger had a pleasure to invite artists of the goldsmith field, to the "kults - jewellery exhibition in the workshop" in Berlin. Hundreds of visitors delighted us every year with their interest for the goldsmith art from 20 countries (see Artists section).

"kults - jewellery exhibition in the workshop" will celebrate the opening with a long "Open Workshop - Weekend". On October 31st and November 1st, 2020 the exhibition will be open for the visitors from 10 am to 6 pm. The Weekend special is the open door to the workshop. Interested visitors get to know methods and techniques of the preparation of jewellery under the guidance of goldsmiths. During this time discussions about jewellery are possible between goldsmiths and visitors. We would be proud to introduce You to our guests on this weekend. The exhibition continues until November 28th on common opening hours of our shop.
